It's hard to know just where to start with this review. This book grabs you from the get-go and doesn't set you free until the very last sentence. There are a LOT of characters in this book, and I was impressed with how well the author kept the characters consistent throughout. In the first part of the book I found myself wondering how everything went together, but as the book progressed I could see the puzzle pieces starting to fit. The characters are believable and the story-line is strong. I'm a female and not usually drawn to the espionage, intrigue, murder type of book. That's more a "guy thing" I think. But I thoroughly enjoyed "Fugue." Oh, and just as an aside...this author sure knows how to write a sex scene. Wow! And I can guarantee that you will NOT see the ending coming. Good job!!!
